(Washington, DC) — The D.C. Court of Appeals has turned down a request for a new trial for a convicted murderer. Daron Wint was convicted in a brutal 2015 quadruple murder in the District. In rejecting Wint’s request for a new trial, the court conceded that his defense team should have been allowed to call an additional witness during his 2018 trial. Wint was sentenced to life in prison without the chance of parole for the kidnapping and murder of four people inside a Northwest D.C. home.
