According to TMZ, it was reported that Tori Bowie, a three-time Olympic gold winner is dead. Bowie was found dead in Florida; the cause of death hasn’t been revealed.
Her sports agency made a statement Wednesday, reporting the news, said they are devastated. “We’ve lost a client, dear friend, daughter, and sister,” the management team said. “Tori was a champion…a beacon of light that shined so bright! We’re truly heartbroken and our prayers are with the family and friends.”
In 2016, she won the Summer Olympics in the women’s 4×100-meter relay team, a silver in the 100-meter dash, and a bronze in the 200-meter dash.
In 201, she made the mad dash as the world’s fastest woman in the IAAF World Championships in London, blazing the track in the 100-meter dash at 10.85 seconds.
Tori was not only a successful athlete; she was a featured model in a Valentino campaign and posed in the ESPN The Magazine’s Body Issue.
