What is happening on our roadways? Everyday we’re seeing severe reckless driving. Safe streets advocates call it “traffic violence”. Speeding, weaving in and out of traffic, running red lights and stop signs, using shoulders to skirt traffic slowdowns. And of course these incidents across the DMV frequently end in severe injury or even death. As we head into the Memorial Day weekend, you can expect more of this and more enforcement. But… should there be a long term plan?
