Six men have been convicted in the murder of Makiyah Wilson. They were accused of shooting the ten-year-old girl in front of her own home back in 2018. She was standing near an ice cream truck and got caught in a spray of bullets during a gang attack in Northeast DC. Four others, including Wilson’s sisters were wounded. Five of the men were convicted of first degree murder. A sixth man was acquitted of first degree murder but convicted of conspiracy.
