(Washington, DC) — President Biden will sign an executive order today aimed at expanding access to birth control and family planning. The order comes a day before the one-year anniversary of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, which guaranteed abortion access for nearly 50 years. The order could include ensuring that private health insurance covers all contraceptives approved, cleared, or granted by the FDA.
