They’re working to provide health support, workforce development and many other resources.

The communities east of the river here in Washington, DC are often called the forgotten gem.  A group of women is working to make sure that the women living there are not forgotten.  Black Women Thriving East of the River is working to provide health support, workforce development and many other resources.  For our Wellness Wednesday conversation we meet two of the women behind this effort.
