Federal Gov’t Shutdown, Congressional Black Caucus

Eight days and counting. Tensions are rising and anxiety too for federal government workers. If Congress doesn’t pass spending bill by September 30th, hundreds of thousands of federal government workers will be out of work. We’ve seen this before. The longest shutdown lasted 35 painful days. It ended in January of 2019. We’re talking the realities and the politics of the looming shutdown and the Congressional Black Caucus.
