Monday, January 15, 2024 – The DM’s first winter storm in two years is taking a toll on school systems across the region. That means an extra day out of school for thousands of youngsters tomorrow. Here’s a list of school closings and delays for Tuesday.

Arlington County Public Schools closed

Charles County Public Schools will open two-hours late

Culpeper County Public Schools closed

DC Government to open on time

DC Public Schools closed

Fairfax County Public Schools closed

Falls Church City Public Schools closed

Fauquier County Public Schools closed

Federal offices in the DMV closed Tuesday. Emergency and telework ready employees must follow their agency’s policies

Howard County Public schools will have a two hour delay

Howard University main and west campuses are now closed. In person classes scheduled to bein at 11am or later are being moved to virtual instruction.

Loudoun County Public Schools closed

Montgomery County Public Schools closed today

Prince George’s County Government will open at 10:00am

Prince George’s County Public Schools closed

Warren County Public Schools closed

Winchester City Public Schools will open 2-hours late
