(Glenarden, MD) — A Good Samaritan helping at the scene of a late-night wreck on the Beltway in PG County is dead after getting caught up in a subsequent crash. Maryland State Police say two vehicles collided on the Outer Loop near Route 50 shortly before midnight and a passing driver stopped to help. Soon after exiting their car, a big-rig hit one of the vehicles involved in the crash and sent it barreling into the Good Samaritan, who was killed instantly.
