(Washington, DC) — Final preparations are being made at The Wharf for tomorrow’s big Mardi Gras celebration. Organizers say they’re going all out this year with a big parade along Wharf Street Southwest, four live bands, culinary delights featuring a taste of New Orleans and a fireworks show to cap things off. Thousands are expected to attend. The event runs from 3:00 to 7:00 and the parade starts at 3:30.
