Washington, D. C. (Monday, March 18, 2024) – Howard University’s Men’s Basketball team has secured a spot in the NCAA Tournament. The Bison will play before a national audience Tuesday as they take on Wagner College. Both teams are 16-seeds.
Head Coach Kenneth Blakeney says his team has battled adversity this year. But even with some setbacks they are playing their best basketball. “It’s about the work and it’s about the journey and that’s been where I’ve put all my energy and effort, and about our young guys.”
Howard clinched their seat in the NCAA after grabbing the MEAC Championship Saturday. The team beat Delaware State .
