President Biden taking executive action today to provide a pathway to citizenship to some 500-thousand undocumented spouses of U.S. citizens. Biden’s executive order allows non-citizens who have been in the country for at least ten years and are married to a U.S. citizen to apply for permanent residence without leaving the country. Biden’s order comes weeks after his administration adopted a crackdown on asylum at the U.S.-Mexico border.
