#Breaking – President Biden is dropping out of the 2024 presidential race ending weeks of speculation of whether he will stay or go after a disappointing showing in the debate against Donald Trump.

The announcement was released on Biden’s social media sites. The decision comes after escalating pressure from Biden’s Democratic allies to step aside following the June 27th debate. In a statement Biden released he said “while it has been my intention to seek re-election, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term.”

Biden went on to fully endorse Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential race saying picking Harris as his number two was the best decision he’s made and he’s calling on all democrats to come together to defeat Donald Trump.

Biden is currently recovering from COVID-19
