The woman who shot her 13-year-old daughter inside their Seat Pleasant home will remain in jail. A judge ordered Talecka Brown held without bond during a court hearing today. Police say Monday evening Brown shot her daughter in the neck following an argument that turned physical. Then, Brown allegedly told the girl to tell police that she was shot by someone who broke into the home. The injured teen is in stable condition. In court today, prosecutors said that Talecka Brown allegedly left a voicemail this morning with her daughter’s father, saying that if the teen didn’t testify “the whole thing would go away.” Brown is charged with first degree attempted murder.
