CNN reports, that a strike that threatens to disrupt the supply chain has Americans hoarding toilet paper like it’s 2020.
Many people are posting photos of empty toilet paper shelves to social media after a dockworker strike shut down 14 ports across the eastern U.S. But experts say there’s no need to worry because most toilet paper is shipped on land, either from U.S. factories or from Canada or Mexico.
Ports from Maine to Texas will not experience any impact. Most of what the port strike will affect is perishable goods, like produce that contains a short shelf life. So the panic is deemed unnecessary.
