The Apollo is being awarded a Kennedy Center Honor and a Howard Theatre Honors. The “Toast to the Apollo” is the first in what will be the launch of the Honors Series created by the Board of the Howard Theatre. The honor recognizes the impact the Apollo has on Black culture, impacting music, dance and much more. My guest this morning is Reggie Van Lee – Chairman of the Board, Howard Theatre.
