Giving Santa a helping hand this holiday season. The WHUR Helpers are packed and ready for a weekend of good cheer to collect new unwrapped gifts for youth in need across the DMV. It’s our Annual Children’s Toy Drive and joining me with details on how can get into the holiday spirit of giving is Renee Nash – Director of News and Public Affairs
The 22nd Annual WHUR Children’s Toy Drive is Saturday, December 14th from 12pm to 4pm at the Shops at Iverson – 3737 Branch Avenue in Temple Hills, Maryland. We need new unwrapped toys and gifts for youth from ages 2 to 17 years-old. All donations will go to non-profit organizations who assist families with children in need.
