Study: Couples Who Joke About Sex Lives Tend To Be Happier With Them

According to People, it was reported in the Canadian Journal of Human Sexuality that couples that find the humor in their sex life are more satisfied.

Through online surveys of 196 people, mostly heterosexual women. The study indicated that couples who share inside jokes or awkward moments have a more comfortable relationship with one another.

“More frequent use of positive relational humor (by self and partner) was associated with more frequent and more positively valenced sexual humor, whereas more frequent negative relational humor use by partner predicted lower relationship and sexual satisfaction,” the study said.
