Howard University students are gearing up for their Alternative Spring Break initiative. This year their mission is even more critical and they need help to make their trip. The Annual WHUR Helping Hands Radiothon is this Sunday to help offset the cost of the students’ volunteer efforts. The WHUR Helping Hands Radiothon seeks to raise money to help defray the cost of sending more than 1,300 Howard University students to communities across the country to volunteer. The radiothon is Sunday, February 23rd from 6am to 6pm. You can donate now at: www.whur.com
