According to CBS News, an email was sent from the Office of Personnel to federal workers asking, “What did you do last week?” The email instructed them to respond with a list of five things they did last week with brief details.
Department of Government Efficiency Elon Musk says, in a post on X (Twitter) that, “Failure to respond will be taken as a resignation.”
The State Department instructed employees to disregard the email, “No employee is obligated to report their activities outside of their Department chain of command,” a department official told workers.
