An opportunity this morning to help our youth shine.  The DC Chapter of the NAACP is looking for upcoming high school students to compete in their ACT-SO program, an initiative to help youth thrive in a variety of disciplines. My guest is Alicia Henry – ACT-SO Chair of the Washington DC ACT-SO Program

The NAACP’s ACT-SO (Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological, and Scientific Olympics) Program is a yearlong enrichment program designed to recruit, stimulate, and encourage high academic and cultural achievement among African American high school students.
