New Allegation Surfaces in Tory Lanez Case During Unite The People Press Conference

On Wednesday, advocacy group Unite The People held a press conference revealing new claims in the ongoing controversy surrounding Tory Lanez‘s 2020 shooting conviction.

According to the organization, a bodyguard named Bradley James, who was allegedly employed by Kelsey Harris, Megan Thee Stallion’s former friend, claims to have overheard Harris admitting to firing the weapon that injured the rapper.

James reportedly stated, “She fired the gun three times, at which point Tory grabbed her arm and knocked it down, causing the weapon to discharge two additional times.”

In response to the allegations, attorney Alex Spiro, who represents Megan Thee Stallion, told TMZ:
“Tory Lanez was tried and convicted by a jury of his peers, and his case was properly adjudicated through the court system. This is not a political matter, this is a case of a violent assault that was resolved in a court of law.”

A post shared on his Instagram account stating Lanez was stabbed 14 times – including 7 wounds to his back, four to his torso, two to the back of his head, and one to the left side of his face. The statement added that both of his lungs collapsed, and he was initially placed on a breathing apparatus.

“He is now breathing on his own,” the post continued. “Despite being in pain, he is talking normally, in good spirits, and deeply thankful to God that he is pulling through. He also wants to thank everyone for their continued prayers and support.”

Lanez is currently serving a 10-year sentence for the 2020 shooting of rapper Megan Thee Stallion, a case that is still the subject of ongoing legal proceedings.
