A gunshot victim dropped off at a Md hospital dies…

Police are looking for the person or people who dropped off a gunshot victim Wednesday morning. Investigators say the male victim was left at the Prince George’s Hospital Center around 12:40.

The victim later died. Police have identified him as 30-year-old Eric Weaver Jr. of Northeast, DC. It’s unclear where Weaver was shot. Police are encouraging anyone with information in this case to contact them.

An audit of Prince George’s Co. School contracts shows major violations…

A state audit conducted on the Prince George’s County School system showed a number of violations with officials who awarded $75 million dollars in contracts.


They found issues with sole-source contracts, the payroll approval process and holes within the computer network security, to name a few. The review was conducted by the state Office of Legislative Audits. These audits are done on a regular bases once every six years.

Interim Schools CEO Monica Goldson has released a letter to the public stating that she is aware of the findings and she is actually in the process of bringing in an outside company to oversee the school systems procurement office.

Teen pleads guilty to making racial threats towards Charlottesville H.S….

The 17-year-old police charged with making online racist threats against Charlottesville High School earlier this month appeared in court Wednesday. The male suspect entered a guilty plea. His threats caused officials to cancel classes at the school for two days. Joseph Platania, the Charlottesville Commonwealth Attorney said he made the threats to get attention and that a search of his home showed that he was not actually planning an attack. The unidentified teen will be sentenced on April 24.
