DC police are looking for the suspect they said hit and killed a 3-month-old baby girl. The alleged innocent happened on March 16th.

Police say 25, year old Cornell Delvonte Holton hit the infant so hard that it knocked her out. An arrest warrant in this first-degree murder case has been issued. The police department is also offering a $25-thousand dollar reward for information that leads to his arrest and conviction.

The infant has been identified as 3-month-old Skylar Newman of South. The incident happened at a home in the 4300 block of G Street. When officers arrived the infant was unconscious.

An autopsy confirmed that she died from blunt force trauma. She died a few days later on March 19th. Her death has been ruled a homicide.
