The House is condemning President Trump’s weekend attacks on four Democratic congresswomen. The resolution approved today on a mostly party-line vote denounces Trump’s comments as “racist.” It follows a weekend tweet from Trump saying the minority lawmakers should go back to the countries they came from and fix the problems there. All four women are American citizens. Has the racially-tinged rhetoric from President Trump changed the racial dynamic in America? Is America more racist now than ever before?
