(New York, NY) — The attorney for alleged victims of financier Jeffrey Epstein is calling today a unique opportunity for them to be heard. Lawyer Gloria Allred said she was happily surprised when the court offered the five women she represents a chance to testify. She said the alleged victims were able to speak truth to power. She also said that the court agreed to leave the case open so that if other victims who could not attend today’s hearing want to make a statement they will be able to do so. Allred said she expects to be filing lawsuits in the coming weeks.
