DC Police Identify Suspect In Double Murder On Rosedale Street In NE This Week

Peyton has been charged with First Degree murder while armed. Investigators say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

The Metropolitan Police Department have issued an arrest warrant for 27-year-old Davon Peyton of Alexandria, Virginia.

Peyton is the suspect police have identified as the person who shot two men on Wednesday inside of a home in the 1600 block of Rosedale Street.

Officers who responded to the home just after 9:30 pm says they found both victims inside of the home suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims has since been identified as 24-year old Devon Miller of Northeast and 27-year-old Lekelefac Fonge of Lanham, Maryland. Fonge was the care giving for Miller who was autistic. There’s no motive as of yet in the double murder.
