It’s been 19 years since The Americans With Disabilities Act was passed back in 1990. The civil rights law prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities in all areas of public life… including employment. October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month. We examine how far we’ve come when it comes to employment for people with disabilities.
