Prince George’s County, MD. (Thursday, January 2, 2020) – Prince George’s County Police are looking for suspects and motives in two separate killings just hours apart. The first murder happened shortly after 11:30pm Wednesday in the 74-hundred block of Varnum Street in Landover Hills, Maryland. Police were called to the area where they found a woman dead inside her home. Reports say the kitchen window to the home was riddled with bullets. A car was also removed from the scene. The women’s identity has not yet been released.
Meantime, hours later at 5:30am Thursday, police were called to the 87-hundred block of Ritchie Drive in Capitol Heights for a welfare check. Officers discovered the body of an adult female inside a car. Investigators say the woman had trauma to her upper body. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not been released
Police have not released any motives or lookout for suspects in the separate killings. Anyone with information on the two murders is asked to call Prince George’s County Police.
