Our area preparing for the first touch of winter snow this year. Snow crews have treated area roads and are on standby to plow if necessary. The metro area could see about an inch of snow, but we should expect mostly rain. Most local school Districts with hybrid systems will have all virtual classes today. Federal government employees are allowed to telework or take unscheduled leave.
