Jackée HarryJackee Harry Reveals Why She Won’t Be Doing A ‘227’

Reboot Fans of the old-school series ‘227’ aren’t going to see Sandra Clark back in action.

Jackée Harry, who portrayed the popular character on the series from 1985 to 1990, was recently asked about a reboot by US Weekly Magazine. “I ain’t going back that far. I just don’t do that anymore. That character is done.”

Although Harry may not be into the idea of a ‘227’ reboot, she does cherish her continued friendship with fellow cast member, Regina King. “Besides one Emmy for [227], one of my favorite things was meeting Regina King because she’s one of my greatest friends,” she shared with Us. “It’s something that I know to happen, to have a real relationship with a person you work with and having that whole experience of the ’80s: living well, many husbands and a great positive tone.”

The series also starred legends like Marla Gibbs, Hal Williams, Regina King, Kia Goodwin, Helen Martin, and Alaina Reed Hall.
