Janet Jackson has announced her 12th studio album titled ‘Black Diamond.’ It will be followed up by a tour of the same name.

Jackson unveiled the news via her Instagram.

“Black Diamonds are the toughest of all the diamonds, the hardest to cut. I see that as the hardest to hurt or destroy,” writes Jackson. “I see myself as a Black Diamond in its purest form. I want to show you my strength as well as give you strength.”

Jackson is recently off  her ‘Metamorphasis’ Las Vegas residency that commemorated 30 years of ‘Rhythm Nation.’ The legendary pop star has wasted no time reclaiming her place at the top.
