Washington, D.C. (Friday, September 25, 2020) – A new report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that the median age of people with the coronavirus in the United States is getting younger. Persons in their 20s now account for more cases than any other age group with 20 percent of the infections.
Americans in their 30s make up the 2nd largest group of COVID-19 cases. Meanwhile, the number of infections in persons 40 and older appears to be steadily decreasing.
