A Well Known Local Children’s Entertainer Charged With Child Pornography

The investigation began following a tip from an internet provider.

The children’s performer locally as “Mr. Knick Knack” has been charged with possession child pornography.

Fairfax County Police say his real name is Steve Rossi. He was arrested last month and just posted bail on May 2nd. Rossi is charged with 10 counts of felony possession of child pornography.

The investigation began following a tip from an internet provider. A search of Rossi’s Reston home uncovered some 50 images.


Mr. Knick Knack has performed at such places at Reston Town Center, Market Common in Clerendon and Tysons Corner to name a few. Now officers say they have no evidence that he had any contact with the children in the video. Anyone with information should call police at 703-246-7800 or text a tip to “TIP187”
