Alexandria City High Training On Narcan

(Alexandria, VA) — In response to recent student overdoses, Alexandria City High School is taking action. The school is providing training today for all of its social workers and counselors on how to use the overdose reversal medication, Narcan. Those staff members will in turn teach the entire student body how to use the medication over the final two weeks of this month. The one-hour lessons will come during English classes where kids will also learn about fentanyl and the dangers of counterfeit pills in hopes of keeping them safe moving forward.
