(Largo, MD) — Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks is launching her campaign for U.S. Senate. The prominent Democrat made her bid official in a video released on social media this morning. The two-minute introduction cited her motivations for becoming a public servant and her accomplishments as one. Other candidates running for the seat being vacated by retiring Senator Ben Cardin include Congressman David Trone, Montgomery County Councilman Will Jawando and Socialist candidate Jerome Segal.
