(January 28, 2021) – The sky is the limit for Amanda Gorman. The 22-year-old will recite a poem Feb 7 at the Superbowl as the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Gorman became the nation’s youngest inaugural poet laureate when she recited her poem “The Hill We Climb” at the swearing-in ceremony for President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
Gorman’s Superbowl poem will honor a nurse, veteran, and educator.
