Police in the District of Columbia are dealing with another attempted smash and grab at a 7’11 for the ATM machine.

The most recent incident happened this morning on South Dakota Avenue. The suspects again used a stolen vehicle. The one used this morning looked like a work truck. The truck got stuck in the storefront window after backing into it. The suspects did not get any money. We have no reports of any injuries. The suspects who fled on foot remain on the loose.

This is the fifth similar 7-11 smash in grab in the last two months. It, however, is the 9th such crime in DC and Prince George’s County since the first of the year.
