Washington, D.C. (Monday, July 1, 2024) – A D.C. woman is pleading for the safe return of her two-year-old French Bulldog. Jaineen Brown says a masked man took her beloved Yurman at gunpoint Saturday evening in the 1700 Block of Fort Davis Street.
Brown says she rarely walks the dog in the area. But took Yurman out Saturday just after 8 p.m. for a brief stroll when at least two suspects drove up and one suspect with a gun jumped out and snatched her dog away.
Brown says the suspects got away in a Black Honda Accord with Virginia tags.
Police are asking anyone who can identify the suspects or has any information about the incident to call police at 202-727-9099 or text tip to the Department’s text tip line at 50411. Police are offering up to a $10,000 reward in the case.
