(Beltsville, MD) — PG County police are hoping an autopsy by the state medical examiner will shed some light on a man’s death in Beltsville. A 911 call came in around 8:45 Tuesday night during the height of the storm from a man who said his friend was soaking wet and acting erratically in the commercial stretch of Baltimore Avenue. Cops didn’t find him, but a second call came in around 9:30 and this time officers found the guy dead, described as being pulled from floodwaters. There is a drainage field near the shopping center where he was found, but no nearby creeks or streams.
