There have only been two black women, U.S. Senators. The first, Carol Moseley Braun from Illinois and Kamala Harris from California. Angela Alsobrooks wants to be the third. The Prince George’s County Executive is mounting a spirited campaign to claim the seat in 2024. She joins us in the Candidate’s Corner to talk about her candidacy.
