(Washington, DC) — The nation’s capital is taking another step forward in the pandemic. All COVID centers in D.C. will close on March 31st. They opened last January to provide free masks, vaccines and testing when cases were spiking due to the omicron variant. But officials say numbers are down significantly and more people are now testing themselves at home. Those who still want to order free kits or find a testing location can do so online.
