The department is preparing for possible protests, confirming there’s no word of any planned demonstrations. Still, barriers will remain around the Capitol. They were put up last week when Trump thought he would be arrested and asked supporters to take action. The 76-year-old is due in court Tuesday on charges related to hush money payments made to an adult film star in 2016.
