“Enough is enough”. That’s the assessment Washington, DC Police Chief Robert Contee gave after yesterday’s shooting near Logan’s Circle which is a popular tourist spot. Two men were shot there and Contee visited the sight today and spoke to a gathering crowd, saying it’s time to get violent criminals off the streets. He went on to say it’s time we stop coddling and trying to help some violent criminals because some of them “might not want a job.” The two victims who were shot are expected to survive. The shooting came less than a week after shots near Nationals Park forced fans at the baseball game to seek cover and the game against the San Diego Padres to be suspended.
