DC Public Schools Requiring Negative COVID Test Today

(Washington, DC) — Some children in the nation’s capital may not be allowed in class today. D.C. Public Schools is requiring all students to test negative for coronavirus before returning from the Thanksgiving holiday. Parents had until nine last night to upload the results online or show proof in person this morning. The schools had been handing out tests since the week before break and offering them at the city’s COVID centers in all eight wards.
