Dementia and The Caregivers

ALZHEIMERS

We’re taking a look at the emotional and often unseen realities of caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s. More than 6-million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease. Behind the statistics are real people, real families, and real stories. As the number continues to grow, especially in communities of color, so are the responsibilities of loved ones to care for this fragile group. We hear from caregivers who are here to share their journeys of challenge, sacrifice, and resilience. We will also preview a powerful exhibition that shines a light on the issue.
