Washington, D.C. (Tuesday, December 2, 2025) – The DMV is getting its first taste of “Old Man Winter.” A mix of rain, sleet, and snow is falling around parts of the region and that spells extra sleeping hours for some area youth. Below is a list of school delays.

• Frederick County MD, public schools: Closed Tuesday.
• Montgomery County Public Schools: 2 hour delay
• Prince George’s County Public Schools: 2 hour delay
• Washington County Schools: 2 hour delay

Virginia

• Clarke County Public Schools: 2 hour delay
• Culpeper County Schools: 2 hour delay
• Fauquier County Schools: 2 hour delay
• Frederick County Schools: 2 hour delay
• Loudoun County Schools: 2 hour delay
• Orange County Schools: 2 hour delay
• Shenandoah County Schools: 2 hour delay
• Warren County Schools: 2 hour delay
• Winchester Schools: 2 hour delay
