Emmett Till and Today’s Black History Moments

Today is a very important day in Black history. Acknowledgement from the highest office in the land of the Emmett Till tragedy. President Biden saying from The White House that the watershed moment should not be swept under the rug or whitewashed. We talk about the history and legacy of Emmett Till. We also talk about how Black history is and is not being taught to public school children in Florida. There’s also a big deal over disenfranchisement and Black political power in a very, very small Alabama town.
