Former Baltimore City Mayor Catherine Pugh has been sentence to three years for her role in the Healthy Holly Book scandal. The prosecution asked for a sentence of close to five years, while the defense asked for one year and one day. Pugh was also ordered to pay $400,000 to the University of Maryland Medical System and almost $12,000 to the Maryland Auto Insurance Fund. Both organizations bought books from Pugh. Her sentence begins on April 13th. There is no immediate word on where Pugh could serve out her sentence.
