The U.S. Postal Service officially unveiled the Gwen Ifill postage stamp today. The event, honoring the legendary journalist was held the historic Metropolitan AME Church in Northwest DC. This was the home church for Ifill. DC Mayor Muriel Bowser declared January 30th, Gwen Ifill Day in the District. Ifill passed away in 2016.
